I’m a writer, scholar, mother, and former nonprofit director.

My co-edited book of essays on the 19th-century origins of gaslighting, Victorian Gaslighting, comes out in March 2026. You can pre-order a copy here. I’m at work on a memoir, Schools of Love, that is part millennial #MeToo story and part literary history of rape culture from ancient Roman poetry to Hollywood film. I live in Philadelphia with my husband, two kids, and ever-growing book collection.
